Yes, it is very important to go to a reputable tattoo studio that follows all safety precautions.
Yes it does but it is more of a bearable pain. It also depends on your personal pain threshold. If you are getting a small piece, you can opt to use numbing cream for a price. However, we do not recommend it on pieces that need more than an hour to complete as the numbing effect only lasts 1 hour.
It depends on the size and design of the tattoo you are getting. It can cost as low as $60 for a simple tiny tattoo and a few thousand for a massive back piece. Our charges are at $150 – $400 per hour for bigger pieces and we will quote you a fixed price for smaller tattoos. When it comes to tattoos, you get what you pay for. Never haggle over the price of a tattoo, It is a piece of art you will wear for life.

- Make sure you are well rested, hydrated, and eat before your appointment. Being dehydrated or low on sleep or blood sugar can make the experience more difficult and can make it more likely for you to pass out or throw up.
- Do not be drunk/hungover. Most reputable artists won’t even tattoo you if you aren’t sober.
- Be clean. You are about to spend a good amount of time, possibly several hours, in close contact with someone else. They don’t want to smell your body odour and, while the artist should thoroughly clean the area that will be tattooed, already being clean will help reduce the chances of infection.
- Don’t shave the area. Your tattoo artist will take care of that if necessary. Shaving can create micro-abrasions or cuts on the area that will harbour bacteria. It’s far better to have it done in a clean environment with a single used razor.
2 to 4 weeks. In the meantime, avoid sun tanning, swimming and seafood. Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare ointment or lotion after showering for the duration of the healing process. You can purchase the ointment/lotion from us. If touch up is needed, wait at least a month to get them done.
Tattooing is increasingly becoming a popular form of body art, with many people wanting to express themselves through tattoos on their arms, chests and backs. But does it hurt? The answer depends on where the tattoo is placed and individual pain tolerance.
For forearm tattoos for men, there’s likely to be some discomfort as the area contains a lot of nerve endings and thin skin. Back tattoos for women tend to be more painful since there are fewer fat cells in this area. A full sleeve and full arm tattoo can also cause some discomfort due to the size of the areas being worked on and because these areas may contain more muscle tissue. Spine tattoos may cause a great deal of pain as they’re often done close to bone or muscle tissue in an area with minimal fat cells.
Tattooing has become increasingly popular in recent years and is a great way to express yourself. But before going ahead with any new tattoo, it is important to consider the safety of the parlor you choose. As both men and women may have different safety needs, there are certain things that should be taken into account when selecting a tattoo studio.
To start off, it’s important to make sure that all equipment used is sterile and disposable, as well as up to date with relevant regulations. The environment should also be kept hygienic at all times; this includes making sure employees use gloves and wipe down surfaces regularly. Additionally, artists should provide clients with aftercare instructions for their tattoos in order to ensure successful healing post-treatment.
Safety should always be the priority when selecting a tattoo parlor or artist. Look for establishments that practice proper infection control protocols, such as using fresh needles and disposable equipment that is properly sterilized between uses. It’s also important to ensure the artist has up-to-date licensing and proof of training on how to safely perform tattoos. Take time to research any potential shops or artists ahead of time; reading reviews from past customers can provide valuable insight into the quality of work they provide.
